None of the five films he has directed (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Frankenstein (2004) (TV), Pathfinder (2007), Friday 13-th (2009) or Conan the Barbarian (2011)) have been based on original material. Was in talks to direct Alice (2010/I).
Was originally going to direct End of Days (1999). However, Marcus Nispel left the the project when budget and script problems arose.
